So, yeah today was a pretty unique day, or should I say unique week, because it is our exhibition week where the whole middle school 7th, 8th and 9th grade show of what they have done the past 3 month. We showed off projects, creations and other stuff we made during the first half of our semester. Me, I'm an 8th grader and the first day that we opened the exhibition I was excited and quite pleased by the amount of people that went to see our exhibition. Also, I had the first shift which was 8am to 10am and during that time a handful of people came to our exhibition.
The 8th graders made a lot of stuff, one of the main projects was a thematic map of Java which we made in a 3-4 week period. We made science projects about the digestive system of humans, we made posters and booklets so that the 6th graders can learn better about the digestive system. We also made a social studies project about the local regulations, we find a local regulation to base our draft from and then make a full fledged local regulation about garbage, education, environment or economy. We also did journals of 'sensing' from when we did our field trips. And we made math projects about how we would make a store. We also made a project to show how to tend to clients by making wallets for other classmates.
There are also projects made by other classes, for example the 7th graders made a project where instead of the teachers giving them an assignment they get bingo cards where they can choose what they would do and if they do 5 in a row they finish the project. They also made a 'sensing journal' from their field trip to the places around our city.
The 9th graders made videos regarding folk lore and also made notes and drawings of traditional weapons, housing, and culture from Indonesia.
Well that was a brief summary of our exhibition and I hope you enjoyed today's post. Have a good day.
